BMW IMME 1200

The IMME 1200 concept motorbike was the creation of two French design students of the ISD (International School of Design). The IMME 1200 is based around the BMW R1200 engine. The name IMME comes from a now extinct German motorcycle maker. The IMME 1200 concept motorbike gained the interest of BMW who helped in the creation of a prototype for the 2006 Intermot Motorcycle Show in Cologne to go on show at the BMW stand.A slick trick of the BMW IMME 1200 concept bike is that all the parts needed to be road legal, license plates, lights, mirrors can be removed with the engine start key and then the machine becomes 'track ready'.

Robrady rMoto Electric Superbike

The rMOTO electric superbike concept was developed by Robrady design in Florida, the rMOTO uses technology and expertise derived from several of Robrady's clients. When the first design sketches of the rMOTO were released on the company web site in April, interest in the concept was so great that the project was approved for construction and a prototype is to be constructed for unveiling in January 2006.Rob Brady talks about the ground breaking concept, and expected performance.“It's kind of a balance we need to resolve. We can get a 100 miles an hour, 120 miles an hour bike but then the range of the bike suffers so it's a matter of starting and knowing that the technologies and different battery chemistries will evolve in time, and probably not very much time at that."The rMOTO uses regenerative charging to recharge the batteries during braking and deceleration. The rMOTO is also suited for fuel cell technology and there's every chance the rMOTO could have a fuel cell on board so that power can be topped up without needing to get to an electrical outlet. Talking about the riding characteristics of the rMOTO Rob Brady explains the difference in power delivery between conventional internal combustion engines and electric motors, a feature also common to the electric sports car the Venturi Fetish."It's not going to be like having a big gas motor that you need to get it into maximum torque zone before you pop the clutch and then fight to keep it there so you can get maximum acceleration. This baby will have maximum torque at zero sitting right there inside the rear wheel ready to go - I can't emphasise how fast this bike will accelerate. The rMOTO is just the start for high performance electric vehicles, and many experts suspect an exponential increase in the development of related technology in the next few years.

LUXURY MOBILE MAKERS OF THE YEAR !

Goldvish “Le million” = $1,000,000 (£540,540)
However, Vertu’s monopoly of the luxury phone market is coming to an end with the launch of several new luxury mobile makers, including Gresso,
Mobiado and GoldVish. Other mobile phone manufacturers are also partnering with luxury brands to produce a range of premium mobile phones, such as LG and Prada, D&G and Motorola, and now Tag Heuer and Modelabs. Finally, there are the ridiculous, super-expensive one-offs, made purely for headline grabbing, such as Goldvish’s “Le million”, worth a cool $1,000,000

Sony Ericsson Black Diamond = $300,000 (£162,162)

Apparently the Black Diamond will be available in 2007, not from Sony Ericsson but by a company called VIPN. Initially only 5 unique numered pieces will be available for the unbelievable price of, wait for it… $300,000.
With regards to the specifications, don’t expect anything remarkable for your money. It will have Quad-band with Wi-Fi, an Intel 400Mhz processor running windows mobile 5, and a touch sensitive 2″ screen. It will also include internal memory of 128mb and will come with a 2Gb SD card for external storage, plus a respectable 4 Megapixel camera.
